OBITUARY Martha R. Officer December 9, 1934 – October 20, 2018 Martha R. Officer, 83, of Reed Avenue, Greeneville, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was retired and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband of 68 years: Joe Officer; five children and spouses: Michael and Debbie Officer, Terry Officer, Kim and Patricia Officer, Cheri and Steve Southerland, and Julia Officer; five grandchildren: Mattea McCann, Paul Officer, Alex Officer, Tyler Officer, and Mara Officer; two great grandchildren: Mia and Maddox McCann; two sisters: Jean Reed and Mary Frank Coakley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Omer and Myrtle Hendry; four sisters: Irene Lee, Fredia Hoover, Anna Mae Tweed, and Jennie Pearl Dugger; and two brothers: Hugh Hendry and Robert Hendry. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. FAMILY Joe Officer, Husband of 68 years Michael and Debbie Officer, Son and Daughter-in-law Terry Officer, Son Kim and Patricia Officer, Son and Daughter-in-law Cheri and Steve Southerland, Daughter and Son-in-law Julia Officer, Daughter Mattea McCann, Grandchild Paul Officer, Grandchild Alex Officer, Grandchild Tyler Officer, Grandchild Mara Officer, Grandchild Mia and Maddox McCann, Great Jean Reed, Sister Mary Frank Coakley, Sister Omer and Myrtle Hendry, Parents Irene Lee, Sister Fredia Hoover, Sister Anna Mae Tweed, Sister Jennie Pearl Dugger, Sister Hugh Hendry, Brother Robert Hendry, Brother She also leaves several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
