Martha Sue Bates Moore, 63, wife of the late Bert Junior Moore, of 550 Amanda Evon Drive, Westminster, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at her home. A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Willie Duncan and Mary Dora Hall Bates. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters: Amanda Evone Elliott of Piedmont, SC, Judy Faye Morgan of Westminster, SC and Connie Sue Patterson of West Union, SC; grandchildren reared in the home: Alex Morgan of Westminster, SC and Brittany Morgan of Pickens, SC; brothers: J.W. “Bud” Bates of Walhalla, SC and Edward Bates of Westminster, SC; sister: Juanita Haney of Walhalla, SC; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her brothers: Alton Bates, Harley Bates and James Bates; and sisters: Frances Harbin, Judy Dean, Louise Wilbanks, Caroline Bates and Florence Norton. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 PM, Tuesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home.
