Marty A. Jones, 60, a lifelong resident of Leesburg was born June 26, 1958 and passed away January 11, 2019. He worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as Land Surveyor before retiring in 2018 due to cancer. Marty was a sports enthusiast; baseball, football, golf and fishing.

He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan all his life and he coached many local youth in baseball. His favorite by far, was mentoring fishing to anyone that would lend an ear. Lastly, Marty’s best loved pastime was spending time with his family.

Mr.Jones is survived by his wife of 28 years Debbie, son Kyle Austin Jones and daughter Emily Nicole Jones, all of Leesburg; brother Richard Jones, wife Dorothy of Winter Haven; sister in law Noella Jones of Leesburg; brother in law David Morrow and wife Jackie of Burlington, WI; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
