Obituary for Marvin Joel Watts Marvin Joel Watts Sr, 90, of Charlotte, NC, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. He is survived by his sons: Marvin “Joel” Watts Jr and Timothy B. Watts; his daughters, Tamara J. Fischer and Faith (husband Jim) G. McDaniel; his sister, Nellie (husband Landis) Bryant; and a special niece, Mary Elizabeth Heath. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; 10 siblings; a son, Jeff; and a great granddaughter Whitney. Marvin’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for them. Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 6, at the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105.
