Mary Agnes Patton, 75 of Boyne Falls, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 from Alzheimer’s at The Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Mary was born in Ironton, Ohio July 6, 1943 to Arlis Benton McCall and Virginia Ruth Womack. Mary was married to her husband Willard Eugene Patton for 51 years.

She leaves behind 4 children Dana Patton of Boyne Falls, Willard Patton II (Mary) of East Jordan, Jason Patton (Laura) of Pellston, Jenny Anthony (Bud Radle) of Elmira, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 8 siblings; Butch McCall (Kay), Larry Loper (Barb), Brenda Chanda (Jim), Rita Bennett (Brian), Barry Loper (Sandy), Gary Loper (Linda), Monty “Dee Dee” Loper (Lisa), and Rodney Loper (Diana). Mary was preceded in death by her husband Willard Patton, her parents Arlis McCall and Virginia Wynsma, her sisters Candice Loper, Melody Nettles, and son in-law Dan Anthony. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends visiting over coffee.

She was famous for her apple pie, donuts and rhubarb pudding. Mary loved to crochet, read and paint as she was very artistic. She was also known for her love of animals and enjoyed singing with her siblings.

Mary’s family was the center of her life especially her grand and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, at 1 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
