Patricia J. Whitley, age 82 of Charlevoix passed away on October 25, 2018 at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital. Patricia was born on February 10, 1936 in Northport to the late John A. and Bertha O. (Hubbel) Clausen. She retired from Oleson’s Food Market after 25 years of dedicated service.

Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, camping with her family, boating and quilting. On July 21, 1956 in Charlevoix, Patricia married Stan Whitley who survives. She is also survived by her children, Joy (Greg) Greenman of East Jordan, Larry (Penny) Whitley of Charlevoix and Connie (Christopher) Siegmund of Charlevoix; grandchildren, Tina (Matt Nesbitt) Greenman, Adam (Kourtney) Greenman, Eric (Brittney Minzey) Greenman, April (Andrew) Marsh, Tyler (Missy Buhro) Whitley, Sydney (Micah) Peebles, Chad (Victoria) Johnson, Maria Whitley; step grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Martin, Stephen (Colleen) Beck, great grandchildren, Nathan, Myles, Alyvia, Amiyah, Kennedi, Lily, Corbin, Alexandra and Jordan; brother, Courtland (Sandy) Clausen of East Jordan, sister, Mabel (Lester) Howard of Vanderbilt; brothers-in-law, Ken (Birdie) Whitley, Dave (Sandy) Whitley, sister-in-law, Elaine Budde and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Aaron Whitley, granddaughter, Alisha Johnson, sisters, Anna May Clausen and Carol Wells. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Neil Tuner officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services.

Private interment will take place at a later date in Brookside Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Online guestbook at www.
