Obituary for Mary A. Stouffer (Thompson) Mary A. (Thompson) Stouffer, 74, of Cambra, died Wednesday evening, December 26th, 2018 at Nottingham Village in Northumberland. Born August 11, 1944 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Thomas G. and Mary A. (Beckenbaugh) Thompson . She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ronald K. Stouffer, on February 8, 2003.

Mrs. Stouffer was a graduate of Shippensburg High School. She was of the Lutheran faith but also attended the Cambra Christian Church. She was a resident of Cambra for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Susquehanna Mini-Makers Club. Her hobbies also included bowling, crafts, fishing, hunting and gardening. She enjoyed the family fishing trips to Canada and she was a noted animal lover, except for snakes and chickens, although she did enjoy a good roaster.

She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Surviving are her three children: Christina M. Schooley, of Northumberland; Todd Edward Stouffer and his wife, Beata, of Bensalem; Patrick A. Stouffer and his longtime companion, Sandy Hornberger, of Berwick; three grandchildren: Tyler Schooley, of Bloomsburg; Derek Schooley, of Drexel Hill and Samantha Schooley, of Mt. Carmel.

Also surviving are her brother, Ralph Thompson and his wife, Nancy, of Shippensburg, a sister-in-law, Elaine Thompson, of Shippensburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Wilbur, James and Norma Thompson. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.

Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
