Mary Beth Bell, 76, of Clinton, WI, died on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1942 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Burt and Elizabeth (Ver Meulen) McKnight. Mary married Bernard C. Bell on February 27, 1960 in San Benito, TX.

Mary was employed by Freeman Shoe, Beloit Daily News, and retired as the assistant to the director at Grinnell Hall. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. Mary cherished her senior community at Grinnell Hall and especially loved spending time with her family whom she was very close.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Bell; son, Andrew (Joy) Bell; four grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Dawn Wegner; sisters-in-law, Emma and Gloria; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Matthew Bell; daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Bell; granddaughter, Keshia; and brothers, Joseph and Vince. A visitation of remembrance for Mary will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd.
