Mary C. (Stevenson) Nolton, 81, of Anderson, passed away on February 22, 2019. She was born on October 2, 1937 in Greenville, Mississippi and resided most of her life in Anderson and Alexandria. She worked for the Waste Treatment Department for RCA in Marion, and retired after several years of service.

After retirement, she worked at Joann’s Fabrics, and volunteered at the Community Hospital Gift Shop. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, painting, and made many blankets that she donated to people in need. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Linda (Danny) Gore of Anderson; son, Ronald G. (Lynda) Taylor of Anderson; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is her sister, Patricia Costello of Seabring, FL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Stevenson; father, William Stevenson; and sisters, Janet and Dottie. Cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life at a late date.
