Belfast, Maine Mary E. (Corbett) Bailey, a longtime resident of the Belfast area passed away peacefully at Waldo County General Hospital on Friday, July 6, 2018 due to complications from a heart condition. She was born in Augusta, Maine on October 26, 1939 the daughter of the late Earl J. Corbett and the late Louise Albert Corbett Palmer. Mary attended Crosby High School and worked for many years waitressing at local restaurants including Barbara’s and Estes.

Mary loved her family and… Read More » friends and was always surrounded by doggies and kitties. She enjoyed music, especially rock n roll and classic country, even winning a dance contest a few years ago with her remarkable rhythm. Mary was a true comedienne and ever so beautiful.

She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her brothers, Edward Corbett of Camden and his children Michael, Darren, and Steven and Daniel Corbett and his wife Sharon of Augusta and their children Lila Beaulieu, Caroline Blais and Jason Corbett, as well as an aunt Pauline DeLong of West Baldwin and cousins. Funeral arrangements are being made through Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast, Maine.
