Mary Dell’s Obituary Mary Dell Branch Jackson, (83), of New Orleans, entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2019 in New Orleans, LA while surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Harriston, Mississippi to the late Ulysses and Arcena Fountain Branch. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, twelve children: Dianne Booth, Brenda Singleton (Jerome), Joyce Brown (Levi), Lois Sanders, Pamela Breaux, Mary Ellen Stewart, Lorraine Slaughter, George Jackson (Adrian), Samuel Jackson, Aaron Jackson (Belinda), Rodney Jackson, and Michelle Jackson.

Her siblings: Alvin Branch, Leroy Anderson, Lois Brooks, Shirly Howard, Pauline Branch, and Carmen Allen. She leaves behind 31 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Arcena Fountain Branch, a son, Kenneth Jackson, her sister Ruby Branch Ellis, and two grandsons, Patrick Jackson and Kirby Singleton.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, February 2, 2019 for 10:0 a.m. at Louisa Street Church of Christ. 3644 Louisa St., New Orleans, LA 70126. Minister Preston Olive, officiating.
