Obituary for Mrs. Mary Dell Huggins Griggs Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Dell Huggins Griggs, 84, who entered into rest on Saturday, April 28, 2018, will be held at 4 o’clock on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Paul Atkinson and The Rev.

Gary Boykin will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medical Services of America Hospice, 2560 Tahoe Dr, Sumter, SC 29150, or Memorial Chapel, 2509 Green Lane, Bishopville, SC 29010. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is serving the family.

Born in Kingstree, SC, she was a daughter of the late Coley Ruthan Huggins and Maude Prescott Huggins. She was a founding member of Memorial Chapel and she loved her family dearly. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Roffe Griggs of Bishopville, SC; son.

Roffie Dean Griggs of Bishopville, SC; daughter, Cynthia Griggs (Gary ) Boykin of Dalzell, SC; brother, Larry Huggins of Bishopville, SC; sister, Carolyn “Kink” Huggins Hancock of Hartsville, SC; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Coley Huggins; and her great-grandchild.
