Mary E. Bowman age 54, of Jeromesville, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1964 in Ashland, the daughter of Ralph W. Bigley and Barbara Jean (Hollandsworth) Warner. Mary had been a lifelong resident of Ashland County.

She was a 1982 graduate of Ashland High School and received her Nursing Degree from the University of Findlay in 2003. Mary had been a private care nurse for 13 years. She most recently was employed as a Production Manager with Keen Pump where she received employee of the month in 2015 and 2016 and employee of the year in 2017.

Mary was a member of the Hayesville AmVets. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, shopping, baking, and most enjoyed being “Nana Doodle” to her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother, Barbara Warner (Dwayne Shire) of Ashland; daughter, Jessica (Jerrad) Goines of Perrysville; son, Joseph (Abbie) Bowman of Jeromesville; along with her grandchildren, Aubrey Simmons, Braydan Goines, Cyla Goines and Alyssa Bowman.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ralph; sister, Marie Bigley; and brothers, Michael Bigley and Bobby “Tad” Davis. Funeral services will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 16810 Columbus, Ohio 43216.
