Obituary for Sandra Sue Schaub Sandra Sue Schaub, 77 Sandra Sue Schaub, 77, of Ashland, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 7, 2018 at Brethren Care Village. Sandra was born October 14, 1940 in Ashland and was the daughter of William Franklin and Mary L. (nee Grate) Humble. She had worked as a computer programmer for the United States Government for many years.

On July 30, 1971 she married Carl L. Schaub who preceded her in death on February 18, 2017. Together, the couple enjoyed ballroom dancing and winter skiing. Sandra loved flower gardening throughout her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, Christina Lay and Lisa Caudill; one step daughter, Kathy Hearley; two sons, Tim and Scott Schaub; one step son, Dale Schaub; nine grandchildren, Kayle and Austin Caudill, Casey and Nevea Costlow, Andrea Williams, Chelsi (Christopher) Jackson, Tasha Lay, and Sara and Cody Schaub; four great grandchildren, Gibson Dunham, Jaxon Williams, Haven Schaub and Kinsley Costlow; her twin sister, Sally (Bob) Thiel of Ashland; and one brother, Tom (Lori) Humble of Washington State. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carl. Interment services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Ashland Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Snyder officiating.

Friends may call prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home. A meal and time of following will follow in the Legacy Room at the funeral home. The family will process to the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. For those who may not be able to attend, online condolences may be shared on the funeral home’s website at denbowfh.com.
