Earl Richard Householder age 86, of Ashland, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Crystal Care Center. He was born April 10, 1932 in Ashland, the son of the late Howard and Zella Mae (Gray) Householder. He had been lifelong resident of Ashland County.

He was employed with the Hyco Corp. , Abbott Labs and Walmart. Mr. Householder was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Earl enjoyed Fishing, taking walks and taking drives with his wife Barbara. On February 1, 1956 Earl married Barbara Mae Fisher Householder who preceded him in death. Survivors include his sons, Daniel (Connie) Householder of Ashland, David Householder, Denny (Dona) Paulo; daughter, Diana Bartley; his 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Also surviving are his sisters, Elizabeth Longdon and Frances Stentz; and brothers, Kenneth (Darlene) Householder, Dale (Rhonda) Householder, Edmund Duane (Cheryl) Householder, and Robert (Becky) Householder. In addition to his wife Barbara, Earl was preceded in death by 6 siblings. Graveside services will be held at Ashland County Memorial Park on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.
