Obituary for David Dale Plant David D. Plant, 42, of Loudonville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 5, 2018 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Wooster, Ohio on December 12, 1975 to Robert and Julie A. (Schoonover) Plant and was raised by his mother and step father Julie & Donald J. Hunt. David had worked as an exterminator with Holmes Pest Control for the past 10 years.

He enjoyed doing anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, and archery. He was also a craftsman making cigar box guitars from the old wooden cigar boxes. Drawing was another pastime of David’s.

On June 26, 2010 He was married to Penny S. Gatliff who survives him. He is also survived by two children, Kailani Plant of Hilo, Hawaii and Nicholas Plant of Chino, California; His mother and step-father, Julie and Donald Hunt of Loudonville, two brothers, Jonathon P. Hunt of Loudonville and Justin D. (Jenifer) Hunt of Ashland; his grandmother, Vida Schoonover of Ashland; a sister-in-law, Casey (Chad) Heston of Mansfield and two nieces and 5 nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Plant and his grandfather, George Schoonover.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. A go-fund-me account has been set up on face book to help the family with the expenses.
