Mary Ellen “Maggie” Richter, 86, of Camilla died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev.

Matt Peek will officiate. Born October 13, 1931 in Colquitt, GA, Mrs. Richter was the daughter of the late Connie C. Phillips and Sarah Long Oliver. She was married to the late Eugene Paul Richter.

She was also preceded in death… Read More » by a niece, Rita Houston Kelly. Mrs. Richter retired from Pelham City Schools as a paraprofessional. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham, where she was also a member of the Lydia Friendship Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son, Gene Richter of Valdosta; three sisters, Bonnie Houston of Colquitt, Foye Clegg of Manchester and Betty Finley of New Hampshire; one brother, Crawford Oliver (Becky) of Camilla; nephews, Roy Oliver, Frederic Richter, Harold Houston; nieces, Lori Oliver Singleton, Nancy Richter, Bonita Richter White, Regina Richter Adam, Robin Richter Dallas; several great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 1 -2 p.m., Monday, before services, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Pelham, P. O. Box 287, Pelham, GA 31779.
