Mary Elizabeth Taylor, 63, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 27, 1955, in Springfield. Mary graduated from Springfield North High School and worked over 15 years as a Nurses Aid; over 10 at the Ohio Masonic Home and over five with the Mueller Center.

Mary loved to spend time with her friends from her union club at the AmVets. She loved kids, was fun loving and always enjoyed a good joke, whatever made… her laugh. Her family knew her as hardworking and she always found a way to help people.

Mary was a good mom and never hid her opinion from anyone. She is survived by her daughters: Shannon Foster, Penny Foster and Jennifer (Victor) Putman; nine grandchildren: Devion, Desteny, Dakota, Breanna, Braylin, Steven, Alexis, Curtis and Leland. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Taylor, her brother, and grandson, Lucas Jr. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent through www.
