Obituary for Mary Ellen Marshall Our beloved Mary Ellen, “Mimi”, Marshall, 70 years young, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 25, at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home, followed by the burial at Rolling Oaks Memorial Cemetery in Coppell. Mary was born on January 30, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas to Ava and Thomas Fortenberry, the youngest of eight children.

She was married to Paul Marshall December 9, 1966, celebrating 51 years of marriage this year. Mary and Paul raised their four dear children, Paul Jr., Gregory, Tamela and Crystal, in the Dallas area starting in 1986. A woman of faith and the heart of the Marshall family, Mary shaped the lives of her family and friends, as well as the countless lives she touched in her call to ministry.

She served on worship teams for several years at various churches, counseled and served as a prayer line supervisor at both Word of Faith and Benny Hinn ministries. She was always ready to be used by God in her everyday walk and didn’t hesitate to obey His voice, pass on her wisdom to others and reach out to those He placed in her path. Her greatest desire was to serve her Heavenly Father and to be used by Him loving others unconditionally.

Mary is survived by her husband Paul Marshall, their four children and spouses, Paul Jr. and Kris Marshall, Greg and April Marshall, Tammy and Robb Martinez and Crystal Marshall, their six grandchildren, Collin, Jordan, Hannah, Grayson, Braden and Ava Grace, and her sister Velma. She also goes on before countless other caring relatives and friends that will greatly miss her. Upcoming Events Visitation 2018 JUN 24.
