Obituary for Mary White (Hall) Mary Ellen White, 94, of Hopkins, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Parkdale Manor in Maryville. Mary Ellen was born on March 3, 1924 in Hopkins, Missouri to the late Earl W. and Mary Jane (Huey) Hall. She was a 1942 graduate of Hopkins High School and was a homemaker.

She was a 77 year member of the Hopkins Christian Church, Fairview Club, Levi & Laces Square Dance Club. She married Merle Ray White on June 24, 1942 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Sandy (Steve) Alexander, Hopkins, Missouri; six grandchildren, Sonya (Mark) Nistendirk, Sim (Julie) White, Shanna (Bill) South, Stan (Lindsay) Alexander, Cameron (Kenzie) White, Kaci (Brandon) Flippo; fifteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd (Gloria) Hall, North Bend, Washington, Earl Hall, Jr. Bedford, Iowa, Glen (Donna) Hall, Savannah, Missouri, one sister, Virginia Petersen, Johnston, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Linda (Pat) McKee, Maryville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Eugene White, brother, Huey Hall and four sisters, Pauline Swope, Lola Houston, Dorothy Ingram and Margaret Patterson. Services 2pm Wednesday, September 12th at the Hopkins Christian Church.

Burial Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, September 11th at the Hopkins Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Hopkins Christian Church.
