OBITUARY Mary Frances Knight August 4, 1924 – December 23, 2018 LEXINGTON – Mary Frances McClellan Knight, 94, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born in Anderson, SC, on August 4, 1924 to the late Walker McClellan and Martha Marie Bridges McClellan. Mary Frances moved to Columbia in 1995 and lived in Lexington since 2004 with her granddaughter, Wendi Knight.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John Evans Knight, and her brother, James McClellan. Surviving are her children, Bertie Forney and Ray Knight (Betty); five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mary Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed gardening, flowers and her dogs, Sugar and Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Senior Care (PACE), 700 Knox Abbott Dr., Cayce, SC 29033.
