Obituary for Mary Ida Freels Rager Mary Ida Freels Rager, age 90, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 1:54 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Methodist Hospital. In addition to her parents, Mal and Eva (Reed) Freels, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George Rager in 1991, son, Steve Craig, Sr. in 2015, and all of her eight siblings. Mary was a homemaker for most of her life, but for many years she was employed at CBS Dress Factory as a seamstress.

She was a talented quilter and Mary’s family is blessed to have those quilts as a part of her legacy. Mary loved flowers; growing them and tending them was a hobby that gave her great joy. Her family was her greatest treasure, and the time spent with the many generations that followed were some of Mary’s happiest moments.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Doug Craig 1 Daughter-In-Law: Helen Craig 7 Grandchildren: Lee Craig, Keith Craig, Christy Craig Priest, Theresa Craig Phelps, Charlie Craig, Angie Craig Stoner, and Stevie Craig, Jr. 14 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, April 19, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Mayor Van Bussum officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
