Obituary for Virginia Mayhugh Wells Virginia Mayhugh Wells, age 91, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 11:03 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Virginia was a member of Henderson’s First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Archie and Ellie Mayhugh, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. Wells in 1975, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Survivors include: son, Gary Wells and his wife Pat, of Henderson, KY; daughter, Debbie Jones and her husband George, of Henderson, KY; granddaughter, Amanda Newton and her husband R.P., of Charleston, SC; grandson, Brad J. Wells, of Henderson, KY; great grandsons, Zach Newton and Sam Wells, many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Virginia’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
