Obituary for Rita Yuvonne Peyton Rita Yuvonne Peyton, age 74, of Madisonville, KY, passed away at 7:49 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018, at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Corum and Lindel Evans, her son, Lawrence Anthony Peyton, Jr., siblings, Iris Rebecca Evans, Virgie Katheryne Evans, Delores Nunnelly, Albert Dewayne Evans, and James Ivan Evans. Rita was a Kentucky Colonel.

She owned and operated her own business, New Horizon Counseling Center, they had numerous locations in the Kentucky area. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include: Husband of 55 years: Lawrence Peyton, Sr. of Madisonville, KY 1 Daughter: Linda Peyton Blair and her husband Roger of Madisonville, KY 1 Sister: Kennda Gean Evans of Ohio 1 Brother: Corum Gerald Evans of Missouri 4 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Rita’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson, KY.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Lon Lorton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kentucky Colonel, 1717 Alliant Avenue Suite 14, Louisville, KY 40299.
