Mary Inell Scott, 89 of Gainesville passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Allen and Dollie Cook Miller. Mrs. Scott owned and operated her own florist for a number of years.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Scott, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby G. and Kathy Scott, Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Estelle Hendrix, Alto; 8 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her parents, son, Jimmy Douglas Scott; daughter, Patricia Ann Scott Ransom; brothers, David Miller, Thurman Miller, Hoyt Miller, Silas Reuben Miller; sisters, Ann Howard and Flora Ellen Smith. Funeral services will be held Monday April 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.

Bobby G. Scott will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Springway Baptist Church Cemetery.
