Mary Jane (Skinner) Michael, of Punxsutawney passed away peacefully at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at the age of 85 Mary Jane was born July 15, 1933 in Lewistown, PA. She was married to the love of her life, C. James Michael in 1952 who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Janice A. Hoffman of Conway, PA.

She is survived by her only son, Russell Michael and wife Debbi Jo of Walston. She is also survived by a granddaughter Casey Norris and husband John, of Knoxville Tennessee and four great grandchildren, Zach, Ainsley, Josh, and Delilah. Additionally she is survived by step grandchildren, Michael G. Kitchen, DMD of Mahaffey, PA and Marlena J. Mumau and her husband Nathan of Washington, PA.

as well as step great grandchildren Gabriel, Abigayle, Meckenzi, Iziack, Alekzandria,and Landon. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral services at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Richard L Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, PA.
