Obituary for Mary Jane Saul Mrs. Mary Jane Saul Augusta, GA – Mary Jane Saul, 98, entered into rest Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Thomas L. Saul, Sr.; son: Dr. Thomas L. Saul, Jr.; parents: Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Glickert; brothers: Mr. James L. Glickert and Lt. Col.

Robert Glickert. She is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. Peggy Moore (Jim) of Marietta, Mrs. Betty Anne Sanders (Larry) of Augusta, Mrs. Martha Edwards (Dave) of Spartanburg, SC and Mr. Robert J. Saul (Shelly) of Augusta; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Saul was born in St. Louis, MO and later moved to Augusta.

She graduated from Mt. St. Joseph School in 1938 and was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Mrs. Saul owned and operated Mrs. Stevens Candy Shop in Daniel Village Shopping Center and later worked at Windsor Jewelers in Augusta.

She was an avid bridge player and loved traveling. Mrs. Saul enjoyed the business relationship she had with Donny Thompson and her family relationship with Elizabeth Mulherin and family. The family would like to thank Evelyn Suarez, her longtime good friend and caregiver for all of her love and support.
