Mary (née Kennedy) Norbeck. Age 62, Of Norwood, passed away on November 11, 2018. Mary was born and raised in Grays Ferry.

She was the loving daughter of Mary and the late James Kennedy. She married her High School sweetheart, the late Dennis Norbeck, and raised her girls Jill Tighe (John) and Natalie Hering (Dan). She was known as Mom-mom Mary to her pride and joy Chelsie and Noelle.

it was her greatest happiness being their Mom-mom. She is also survived by her siblings; Patricia Penn (David), James (Kathy), Jean Green (Michael), William (Colleen), John (Cindy), Cathy McGee (Michael) and Brian. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary was an employee of ACME Markets for over 30 years. Mary will best be remembered for her work ethic, thoughtfulness, generosity and loving spirit. She will also be remembered for her love of the lottery and scratch offs.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Thursday, November 15th, at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 29th & Dickinson Sts. , Phila.
