Mary Lee Underwood Bowlan Vaught, 83, of Carlisle passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born August 28, 1935 to the late Robert O. and Mary E. Underwood. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Merley D. Bowlan.

She later married her second husband, Leon Vaught who also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Daniel Bowlan (Jenny) and Mike Bowlan (Lavel) all of Carlisle a daughter, Anita Castleberry (Bronson) of Austin, three step-children, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Clarence Underwood (Dorothy) of Conway and Lewis Underwood (Betty) of Carlisle and one sister, Fran England (David) of Dixon, TN.

Visitation will be at Boyd’s Funeral Home in Lonoke on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at Hamilton United Methodist Church, 4394 Hamilton Loop Rd. , Carlisle, AR 72024 on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at Hamilton Cemetery.
