MARY LOU AMSLER MILFORD, 88, of Knox, Pa. passed away WEDNESDAY afternoon June 20, 2018 at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo. Born in St. Petersburg, Pa.

on November 8, 1929, she was daughter of late Paul Lawrence and Rachel Carroll Amsler. A graduate of the former St. Petersburg High School, she had been employed at J.C. Penney in Clarion for over ten years. She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church near Knox, and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.

Mary Lou was a very active and supportive member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of American Legion Post 997 of Lamartine, and was also a member of the AARP. She is survived by three children and spouses: Patricia ( Leroy) Ace, Lawrence Arthur (Karolyn) Milford, and John William (Judy) Milford, all of Knox; eight grandchildren, and several great and great, great grandchildren, as well as number of nieces and nephews. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty seven years, David William Milford whom she married June 13, 1947, and who passed away Dec.

6, 2014. Visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM today (Friday) at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Washington St., Eau Claire where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor Karen Parsh of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Paul Union Cemetery near Knox.
