Obituary for Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Veasman Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Veasman, of Ann Arbor, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old. Born June 25, 1938, in Norfolk, Nebraska she was the daughter of John and Florence (Brudny) Siemek.

Mary Lou retired from the University of Michigan where she worked as an administrator for 36 years. Throughout her life she had many hobbies and interests, she enjoyed painting, reading, she enjoyed walking and running and enjoyed bowling, participating in many leagues. Most of all she loved and enjoyed time spent with her family and traveling with her husband.

Mary Lou was an active and longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus where she worked alongside her husband on many fundraisers and fish fries. She is survived by her husband Lawrence “Larry” Veasman; their children, daughter Mary Jo Robinson and her children Emma and Hattie Robinson; daughter Kelli C. Caruso (Mark) and her daughter Monica Lewis (J.D.), daughter Susan Trisdale (Carl) and her children Mark Seyfried (Kellie) and Missy Albert (Ryan), daughter Lori Witt (John) and her children Ryan Witt (Ilka), Amanda Dezelske (Jon) and Shannon Witt; 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers John Siemek and Bill Siemek; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, as well as her church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
