Mary Peterson Formerly of Richfield and Fayette Mary Lynne Beckstead Peterson, 63, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Arizona from complications following surgery. She was born July 15, 1955 to Melvin H and LaPreal Black Beckstead in Dragerton, Utah. Mary was loved by everyone who met her.

She made friends everywhere she went. She was the life of the party, with an infectious laugh and so full of sass. She loved unconditionally and forgave quickly.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff “Chugger” Peterson; her children; Tara (Chris) Merryweather, Rachel Christiansen, and Jeremiah Swan; her stepchildren: Jessica (Ryan) Adams, Courtney (Anthony) Allred, and Tiffany Peterson. She had 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her siblings: Mela Nee (Gene) Robertson, Scott (Jean) Beckstead, Henry (Becky) Beckstead, and Valerie (Alan) Wade.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Pete” Swan,; father Melvin H. Beckstead; mother LaPreal “Bobbi” Langford; and granddaughter, Amber Lyne Smith. Cremation services have been held. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Fayette Community Center.
