MARY OPAL BARKER, 64, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on July 30, 1953 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leonard and Sharon (O’Connor) Hughes. Mary is survived by her son, Greg (Linda Heuker) Barlow II of Sidney; grandson, Greg Barlow III; and three siblings, Sherry (Bill) Murphy, Shannon (Leon) Francis, both of Sidney, and Leonard Hughes of Vandalia.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Hughes. Mary was retired from the former Hall Printing in Georgia where she worked in quality control for more than 15 years. She enjoyed spending time out in the sun and swimming with her friends and family.

Mary loved cats, especially her own “Baby Girl”. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all that knew her. Funeral Services are to be announced.
