Obituary for Mary Van Rheenen Mary Evelyn Van Rheenen of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born on July 9, 1943 in Noble, Oklahoma and passed from this life on November 19, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years. Mary grew up and attended school in Norman and Noble, Oklahoma. On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1992, Mary married Arvin Van Rheenen in Norman, Oklahoma.

She worked as a caregiver at the J. D. McCarty School for the handicapped. Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, riding horses, and traveling.

Mrs. Van Rheenen is survived by: Her husband: Arvin of the home 2 sons: Rick Calvert of Guthrie, Oklahoma Robert Calvert and Tracy of Norman, Oklahoma 2 step-sons: Brad Van Rheenen and Shelly of Monroe, Iowa Rick Van Rheenen of Grants Pass, Oregon 1 step-daughter: Shawna Stevenson and Jay of Newton, Iowa Brother: Calvin Todd of Ft. Worth, Texas Sister: Carol Hunter of Norman, Oklahoma 4 grandchildren Mrs. Van Rheenen was preceded in death by: Her parents: Dick & Geneva Todd Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Rev. Don Griffith officiating.
