Obituary for Mary Verdin Mary Verdin, 90, a native and resident of Dulac, Louisiana passed away on May 29, 2018. A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 9:00 am until the Religious Service at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Bisland Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Jack, Joseph, Calvin, Ernest, Elvis, Gabriel, and Destry Verdin; daughters, Sylvia Jean Guidry, Mary Verdin, May Verdin, Diane Mignella, Norma J. Stewart-Williams, Rebecca Verdin, and Adlena Verdin; brother, Milton “T-Mel” Deon and John “Nunu” Dean; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Simon Verdin; mother, Angelina Verdin; grandfather, Jean Baptiste Verdin; son, Paul Randolph Verdin; infant daughter; grandaughter, Paula Ann Guidry; and a few great-grandchildren. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She really cared for her family. She believed in God and she was a very religious woman. Online condolences can be given at www.
