Zamoyski, Mary “Miriam” Chmielewski Zamoyski, age 100, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Leo J. Zamoyski, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018. Mary was born in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Jacob and Mary Chmielewski. She retired from Warner-Lambert (Schick) in Milford and was an active member of St. Michael Church in Bridgeport then St. James Church in Stratford.

She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary is survived by four daughters, Mary Ann Nemec of Stratford, Elizabeth Hart of Stratford, Lorraine Moraniec and husband Robert of Prospect and Diane Gabor and husband James of Stratford, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM in St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev.

Arthur C. Mollenhauer. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
