Obituary for MaryAnn Herman MaryAnn Herman, 75 of Connellsville passed away on Sunday January 6, 2019 in the Uniontown Hospital, with her family by her side after a courageous battle and struggle with cancer. She was born November 2, 1943 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Lucas Patrick. Mrs. Herman was a graduate of Connellsville High School.

She worked as a nurses aide in the Uniontown Hospital and later at Frick Hospital in the maternity ward. During the Christmastime holidays she worked for Rich Farms in Uniontown and Morgantown. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and a former member of its Christian Mothers.

She was a lifetime member of the Connellsville Slovak Club. MaryAnn was a kind and gentle soul who was a friend to many. She is survived by her husband Ronald Herman; her children, Christine Rankin and her husband Keith of Fairchance and Ronald Herman, Jr. and his wife Dana of Connellsville; her brother Frank Patrick and his wife MaryAnn of Atlanta, Ga.

; grandson, Kyle Rankin and his wife Destiny; great granddaughter, Chandler Rankin; granddaughter Jocelyn Eutsey and her husband Kasey; great grandson, Brody Eutsey; and granddaughters, Lauren Herman, Leah Herman and Tia Herman Chomiak and many brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a daughter Mary and a granddaughter, Jessica Lyn Rankin Friends will be received from 7-9 P.M. Tuesday and 2-4, 7-9 P.M. Wednesday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church with Rev. Robert Lubic officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of MaryAnn Herman. To offer a condolence or remembrance please visit www.
