Obituary of Mary Koehler Mary Koehler, 86, passed away October 3, 2018. She was born March 24, 1932 in Gyorkony, Hungary to Paul and Elizabeth (Kraus) Gangel. Mary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and had a long-time career as a Data Processing Manager for the Alltel Corporation.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth Kovacs and Katherine Graf. Mary is survived by her husband of 67 years, Mathias Koehler; sons Matthew (Marcia), Mark (Christine) and Michael (Denise) Koehler; daughter Rebecca McCleary; grandchildren Daniel McCleary, Rachel (Kenneth) Stuber, Matthew Koehler, Sarah (Mike) Ramus, Amy (Jack) Toth, Rebecca (Josh) Papp, Bradley (Sarah), Adam, Katie Ann, Audrey, Madeline, Katie Marie and Michelle Koehler; great-grandchildren Seth, Ethan, Emma, Liam and Tyler. Friends and family are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 5 – 8 PM.

Rev. John Eiwen will conduct services Tuesday 10 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 139 S. High Street, Akron, OH 44308. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
