Marylyn A. Kohl 82, Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at Brewster Village surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 9, 1936 in Neenah to the late William and Nora (Lallement) Ducat.

Marylyn was a secretary at Neenah Foundry, Kimberly-Clark and Lieber Lumber. She married Richard J. Kohl on July 13, 1957. Marylyn enjoyed crafting especially sewing for her granddaughters.

She and Dick loved spending time at their cabin on Blue Mountain Lake and Lake Helen. They also enjoyed car trips to the U.P. to see the seasonal colors and the Mackinaw Bridge. Marylyn is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard; her children: David (fiancée Amy Salentine and her children: Eli, Max and Abby) Kohl and his children: Katelyn Kohl; Jillian Kohl; Sharon (Steve) Kozak and their son Ben (girlfriend, Kelly Mischler) Kohl, Jerry (Kim) Kohl and their children: Hanna (Sully Shimek) Kohl and Adam (fiancée Danielle Bradford) Cain; brother, Donald Ducat; sisters-in-law: Lorraine, Marlene and Ellen Kohl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert (Alice) Ducat; a sister, Dorothy Ducat; sister-in-law, Marion Ducat; brothers-in-law: Jerome, Norman and Joseph; sisters-in-law: Geraldine (Arnold) Van Handel, Marylou (Clyde) Heckner and Carol (Pat) Jansen. A Mass of Resurrection for Marylyn will be held at 11AM, Saturday, February 2 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S State St, Appleton with Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating.

Visitation will be held directly at church on Saturday from 9 – 11AM. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

The Kohl family would like to thank the staffs of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Brewster Village, Ruth and Randy Voss and the neighbors who have been so generous with their time and loving care.
