Mary Willene Scheer December 24, 1926 – January 5, 2019 Mary Willene Scheer, age 92, passed away on January 5th at Waverly Place Assisted Living in Albany, Oregon. She was born in Clayton, New Mexico to William and Altha Luellen. Soon after, the family moved to Arkansas for a few years then back to New Mexico until the dust bowl situation sent them to California.

In 1937 the family moved to Oregon. Mary graduated with the Roseburg High School class of 1944. Soon after she married Dale Ellis who had returned home from military duty in Iceland.

They raised three daughters and were later divorced. Mary moved from Roseburg to Albany and met and married Louis Scheer in 1972. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Mary is survived by daughters Carol Stewart (Bob, deceased), Becky Darling (Chuck) both of Albany and Cindy Guido (Patrick) and honorary 4th daughter Barb Bathrick-Yee both of Roseburg. She also leaves a grandson Tony Guido, a granddaughter Brandi Tucker and three great granddaughters, Larea Guido, Rylie and Keatyn Tucker. Preceding her in death were brothers Alvin, Cecil and Marvin Luellen and her one sister Melba Lee Hodges.
