Randy died peacefully at home on Feb. 20, 2019. On this day, we lost a son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Randy was raised in Albany, attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from West Albany High, excelling in math, despite a major hearing loss. He married and had three children and worked many years at Keller Development with his Dad and brothers as the “finish man”. His patience and attention to detail showed in the painting and trim work he did.

After retiring, he volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, using his carpenter skills there. He liked to tell stories and visit with family and friends. He especially enjoyed Bob Dylan music and watching the Green Bay Packers and the Portland Trailblazers with his beloved cats by his side!

In his younger years, he enjoyed biking, even completing the Seattle to Portland ride twice. He also inherited a 1952 Chevrolet sedan from his grandfather in North Dakota and kept it running for many years and lovingly referred to her as “Ol Betsy”. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Jack Keller and his brother, Ricky Keller.

He is survived by his mother, Agnes Keller, siblings, Loretta Stark, Stan (Iryna) Keller, Rod (Barbara) Keller, Jackie (Jack) Cray, Jolene (Nobuo) Kobayashi and his children, Heather (Dale) Debolt, Scott Keller, and Brittany (Scott) Rinehart, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral mass will be said for Randy on Tuesday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Safe Haven Humane Society or Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home.

AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements (www. aasum-dufour.com).
