Obituary for Maude Virginia Sheppard Dinkins Castle Mrs. Maude Virginia Sheppard Dinkins Castle, age 94, of Bristol Tn. , passed away comfortably on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at her home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Cora Belle Gilliam Sheppard.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband John Henry Dinkins and her second husband Edward Castle, a son; David Dinkins, a grandson; Michael Hurt and three brothers. Mrs. Castle was of the Baptist faith and was a retired hairstylist. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Joan Rogers of Bluff City and Wendy Elton of Bristol, TN, six grandchildren, eleven great- grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Mountainview Cemetery in Bristol, VA. Eulogies will be provided by the family.

Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers are asked to make donations to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Rd. , Bristol, Tn 37620. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.
