OBITUARY Maudellen Steveson July 18, 1940 – October 4, 2018 Maudellen Steveson 78, of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to on July 17, 1940 to George and Mary E (Shreffler) Murphy. They preceded her in death.

She celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with the love of her life James H. Steveson on October 14, 2017. He survives. Maudellen worked for District 150 for over 20 years as the head baker.

In her free time she loved spending time with her family, reading, and gardening. She is survived by her children; Jerri, Jim (Deb), Jason A. Steveson, grandchildren; Amanda Hinrichs, April (Logan) Harmon, Jacob Steveson, Josh Steveson, Madison Steveson, Fletcher Steveson. Also surviving is one great grandchild Gabriel Sabla and another on the way, and four siblings.

She is preceded in death by her brother Ed Short Cremation rites have been entrusted with Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor’s choice. For more information please visit www.
