Obituary Maudie Baker, age 99, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hill Baker; parents, John and Delia Fauscette; brothers, Calvin, J.T., and Trammell Fauscette; and son-in-law, Doug Smith. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Lavada and Willis Treadwell of Dalton, and Linda Smith of Cohutta; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Hoyt Smith of Dalton; grandchildren, Brian and Kathy Smith, Lisa and David Redmond, and Karen Rogers; great grandchildren, Grant, Matthew, and Morgan, and Andrew and Ashley and their father Randy.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. William Walker and Rev. John Bagley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
