Maxine’s Obituary Maxine (Perry) Thurman Hawkins, 95, wife of the late Lee Van Hawkins, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home. Born March 7, 1924 in Anderson County, Maxine was the daughter of the late Ollie Townsend Perry and Minnie Bell (Monroe) Perry. Along with her husband and parents, Maxine was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert L. Hudnall, three sisters and five brothers.

A graduate of Lawrenceburg City High, Maxine was a retired shipping clerk for Universal Fasteners. She was a member of First Christian Church and enjoyed attending the Anderson County Senior Citizens Center. Maxine loved her grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and watching numerous sports.

Maxine is survived by her three children, Wayne Thurman and his wife Kaye of Danville, Jana Lynne Hudnall of Lawrenceburg, and Donna Jeanne Cunningham and her husband Terry of Lawrenceburg; 6 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29th from 10 – 2 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Rev.

Jim Wheeler and Bro. Carl Bush will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Davy Cunningham, Marcus Cunningham, T.W. Stockton, Brice Stockton, Max Hudnall, and Chandler Hudnall. Memorials in memory of Maxine are suggested to the Anderson County Senior Citizens Center, 160 Township Square, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 or a church of your choice.
