Zenor, 102, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Premier Estates of Toledo under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Chaplain Harlan Nuss of Iowa River Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Maxine was born on December 28, 1916, in Unionville, MO, the daughter of Joseph and Goldie (Jones) Terrell. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines and attended AIB College of Business in Des Moines.

On July 27, 1940, she was united in marriage to Earl Zenor in Macon, MO. Maxine worked at the Juvenile Home in Toledo as a Head Bookkeeper for many years as well as other local businesses. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Tama-Toledo Country Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Tama American Legion.

Maxine loved crocheting and was a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and dancing. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Manfull of Montour, Sandra Doyle of Cedar Falls, and Alice (Dick) Tesar of Rhodes; twelve grandchildren, Chris (Jackie) Doyle, Gary (Melissa) Manfull, Shelly (Shawn) Meighan, Diane (Doug) Anderson, Laurie (John) Lynch, Tracy (Keith) Carmen, Doug (Beth) Manfull, Pat (Tammy) Doyle, Teresa (Rodney) Sieck, Mike (Mary) Doyle, Matt (Lisa) Doyle, and Pam (Scott) Banyas; thirty great-grandchildren; forty great-great grandchildren; one sister, Patty Rinehart of Overland Park, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl; two sisters; four brothers; one grandson, Richard G. “Dicky” Tesar Jr., one great-grandson, Spencer Lynch; and two sons-in-law, Larry Manfull and Gene Doyle. A memorial fund will be established.
