Megan Marie Humes, 18, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, at her home. Born in Chambersburg on June 26, 2000, she was the daughter of Michael D. Humes of Fredericksburg and Suzanne M. Stringert Benson, wife of Dean M. Benson of Jonestown. Megan worked at the Weis Markets on S. 12th St. She enjoyed art and loved all things Shrek, hanging out with her friends, writing, singing and especially playing her guitar.

In addition to her parents and step-father, she is survived by her brother Justin C. Humes and sister Sara L. Humes, both at home; step-brothers Austin and Alex Benson at home, Daniel Scott of Dallastown and Bradley Scott of Pasadena, MD; and her step-sister Kierstyn Benson of York. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 3:00 p.m.at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd.

, Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Lebanon Twp.
