Melinda “Linda” Gillikin Burbage, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Otway Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Jack Mumford.

Linda was a devoted member of the Easter Star in Beaufort where she served as their former president. She was also an active member of Otway Christian Church when her health would allow. Linda was a very outgoing and social person that loved fellowshipping with friends over meals.

She was a loving wife and aunt that will be missed. She is survived by her husband, and one and only love of 50 years, Glen Burbage; nieces, Cindy Ingram, Martha Ingram, Dee Burcher, Kris Oglesby and Claudia Lynskey; nephews, Gregory Lawrence, Jeffrey Lawrence and Tyler Ingram; cats, Ace, Winky, Molly and Missy; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Viola Gillikin; sisters, Marie Lawrence and Helen Ingram; and nephews, Bradley Lawrence and Richard “Dickie” Ingram.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Otway Christian Church. Online condolences may be made at www. mundenfuneralhome.net Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home and Crematory in Morehead City, NC.
