Melissa “Mel” Strickland Bailey Sylacauga, AL – Funeral service for Melissa “Mel” Strickland Bailey, 71, will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. David Vick officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Bailey died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Cleo Strickland. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed the outdoors, going to the lake and living life to the fullest.

She gave her all to everyone around her. She is survived by fiancé, Jeff Smith; son, Brian (Krystal) Bailey; grandchildren, Kameron Bailey and Connor Bailey. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
