Melva L. Speelman of Mineral Ridge passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 6:45 p.m. in her residence. She was 65. Melva was born on August 5, 1953 in Warren, the daughter of the late Clarence “Ben” and Eleanor VonThaer Speelman.

She was a 1971 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Melva was of Episcopalian faith. Ms. Speelman is survived by 2 daughters, Stephanie Sigley and Dayna (Eric) Burworth; a son, Michael R. Joll; 2 brothers John Parsons and Charles Speelman; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
